Sports Day !!

Today was sports day for yr 3 - 6 ... Overall , i think Tudor came 4th Hanover 3rd Stuart 2nd and Windsor 1st . Also it was valentines day and Half term , quite an exciting day for most people , and just to say every one who took part in sports day did really well !!!

A Midsummer Nights Dream

Today y6 went to see s4k A midsummer nights dream.
I thought in was really good .My favourite character
was puck by miles. At one point i fell of my chair
in laughter 1 ! Lol!!!!!he was soo soo funny ,
especially when he was watching hermia , demitrius ,
lysander and helena argue with 3 - D glasses on
and popcorn ! ! It was hilarious !

School Trip

Not that long to the school trip , only a couple of weeks now . Its gonna be soooo coool , last time my favorite activities were abseiling , mountain bikeing and staying up all night !!! Lol !!!! This time its gonna be loads better coz were staying 3 nights as asposed to 2 !! Exciting !!! If you have read this post leave a comment on what ur looking forward 2 . A very happy new year to everyone , i went to bed at 3 am this mornig coz of the traffic from the fireworks !!! I went to see them at burj Dubai the were amazinggg!!!!

England retain the Ashes !!!!

England have won the ashes!!!!!brilliant !!! they smashed the aussies in the 4th test by an innings a good amount of wickets and something like 150 runs!!!all england needed was a draw in the series coz they won it last so they had a good chance of winning 1 of 2 games.

Amazing england and there Barmy Army strike again ! !

The ashes - test 3 0f 5

yesterday the 3rd ashes test was played .Australia won , NOOO.australia batted first scoring 391 runs !!then england only managed a poor 123 !!dissapointing for england , but the aussies are probably still celebrating!!!However, england will still win !!!!!!!!!

At the moment the ashes are being played. the ashes is a test cricket series when england and austrilaia face each other for the ashes trophy.The reason its call the ashes is coz in the1880s england and austrilaia burned the stumps used for a game . since then , the two rivals have viciously competed for the glorious trophy.The ashes is every 2 years and its currently on now!England are 1-0 up in the series!!woohoo!!The first game was a draw but england won the sencond by 6 wickets and 71 runs!!!Also in the second test out best battsman kevin Pietersen broke his record scoring a massive 227 runs!!!Come on ENGLAND!!!

Rugby 7's final!!

Last night was the rugby 7's final . England against Samoa.

First Half

England started well scoring an early try which they unfortunatly couldnt convert.
Samoa then came back after scoring a great try which was extended by 2 points after they coneverted.But then samoa managed yet ANOTHER try which wasnt converted.12-5 to Samoa.Then England had an exellent break , the man beat one person after another then carried on going for a well deserved try.12 all. After 2 minutes of more epic play samoa scored another try.they successfully converted. 1 minute to go to half time.

Second Half

More tense play went on for a few minutes until england made a stunning brake , caprice beat about 3 men before jogging over the try line.England conversion-unsucess.21-17.Then only 4 minutes to go, but then england got the ball from the kick off and headed strait for the try line,TRY TO ENGLAND!!!!21-22, ENGLAND IN THE LEAD!! But that didnt stop england , they went back for more and now ANOTHER try to ENGLAND sealed them a phenomanal 29-21 victory over Samoa!

Dubai mall fireworks

On the 1st december 2010 i went to see some fire works at the burj khalifa. during the firework show i went to get a better view of them and a piece of broken firework landed on my head!After the show we went to eat at a reasterant by the fountains and the national anthem came on with the fountains whilst some people including me sang it . After dinner i went a bit crazy and starting singing chrismas songs and acted like a chicken!!!!

Mosque Trip

Today y6 went to the jumeriah mosque.we found out more about mosque and we had a quiz on it.also a lady demonstrated how muslims pray and what movements they make.it was very interesting.
